Company Statement  – Founded in 2013, Omise is a venture-backed payments company operating in Thailand, Japan, Singapore, and Indonesia, with rapid expansion plans to neighboring countries across Asia-Pacific. In November 2016, Omise was featured on Forbes as Fintech Rockstar.

OmiseGo Is not really a Cryptocurrency but a Crypto Token held on the Ethereum Blockchain using the ERC20 Token. The tokens are distributed by the Omise company. Since 2013 the Omise Company has provided payment solutions in Southeast Asia. There are over 100 employees and some of the best developers in the business on staff.

It is a proof of Stake token and you will get more coins by holding them in your wallet. They have a goal to provide bank access use smart phones wallets and pay for goods and services for the unbanked in that region.  There are 3 out of 4 people in Southeast Asia are unbanked.  They do not have access to banks so this OmiseGo will be able to bring modern commerce and lending capital to the entire region. This is huge and will change the lives of millions.  They are currently working with concepts to provide microloans and give credit to these people all using the blockchain. This will be offered all over the phone all person to person or peer to peer without a bank.
